Poison Elves seriesby *poison

This piece is a remake of the back cover of Poison Elves TPB Vol.1 "Requiem for an Elf" by Drew Hayes. An image and quote that had its influence on my youth. Might be the first piece I did that I print out for myself even.

I didn't put too many hours into it, but really like how it turned out. So much so that I created an updated logo for the series and went for the look of one of those Showtime posters, like Dexter or Californication. I know I'm not the only one who would love to see this happen, hehe.

Well, from what I can remember, Drew Hayes said that that Lusiphur was influenced by some metal singers. Glenn Danzig, amongst others. So I tried to let that flow into my versions a bit.

I cannot believe I never commented on this... I adore the image and I love to see people still enjoying Poison Elves, just like me.
This is a strong image with a strong message and I love the tribute you payed, here. Well done and great work!
